Your Visit to Piedmont Endodontics

Your First Appointment

Your first visit starts with a thorough exam. We review the records and imaging your referring dentist sent over, take our own digital imaging, and do a full clinical evaluation. Then we sit down with you, walk through what we found, explain what it means, and go over treatment options.
Plan to arrive a few minutes early to finish up any paperwork. Bring your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any dental records your dentist has sent. If you have significant dental anxiety, let us know when you call. We'll make sure the whole team knows, and we'll take extra care from the moment you walk in.

Insurance and Financing

We accept Cigna and Sun Life dental insurance plans, and also partner with most PPO insurance plans as out-of-network providers. Our team verifies your coverage before your appointment and gives you a clear estimate of your out-of-pocket cost before treatment starts. No surprises. We facilitate the claims process for you whenever possible.
For patients with limited or no coverage, we offer CareCredit financing with a six-month interest-free option. Cost should never be the reason someone lives with tooth pain.

Patient Forms

We make the paperwork part easy! Complete your new patient forms online before your appointment and you'll spend less time at the front desk and more time with the doctor. Our forms are secure, straightforward, and take about five minutes to fill out. If you'd prefer to complete them in the office when you arrive, that works too.

Billing and Payment

We accept all major credit cards and CareCredit financing. Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Before treatment begins, our team provides a verbal estimate that includes your expected insurance benefit so you know exactly what to expect.
Questions about a bill? Need to work out a payment plan? Just call us. We would rather talk it through than have the financial side get in the way of finishing your care. You can also make a payment directly through our secure online billing portal below.

Referring a Patient to Piedmont Endodontics

Dentist referrals are the backbone of what we do, and we don't take those relationships lightly. When you send a patient to Piedmont Endodontics, you're trusting us with someone who trusts you. We treat that referral accordingly.
Our team communicates directly with referring practices throughout the referral process. We send timely updates on treatment findings and outcomes, coordinate on post-treatment restoration planning, and make sure your patient comes back to you with a clear picture of what happened and what comes next. We work hard to make the referral experience as smooth for you as it is for your patient.
Emergency referrals are handled the same day they are submitted whenever possible. If you have a complex case and want to talk through it before sending a patient over, give any of our offices a call and we will work with you to make the referral a success.
