Dr. Stanley made me feel very safe. I was extremely nervous and honestly afraid. He helped understand what was going on the entire time. He was spot-on through everything. If something was going to give off a certain smell, it did exactly what he said it would. If something was going to feel a certain way, that exactly what happened. I appreciate both Dr. Stanley and Megan very much. Praying for them both!!

My tooth pain started during the night on a Thursday. By the time I woke up I knew I was going to have to have a root canal. I am way to familiar with them. My regular dentist office is closed on Fridays but I left a emergency message, didn't receive a call back. Started researching emergency dental offices. I had called a few and they each said I have an appointment Monday morning (that is surely NOT what your advertisement said, which was 24/7). I finally got a hold of a referral to Piedmont Endodontics in Greensboro. I called and was told to come on and they would work me in. When I arrived, I knew I had been there several different times during the years so that made me happy & comfortable already. The WHOLE office staff couldn't have been more friendly!!! The x-ray tech, the doctor's assistant I believe one was Allie & the other one Sharon(I think), anyway I was taken care of more than 100% if that's a thing. Dr. Stanley could NOT have been more personable and professional!!! It was a bad back bottom tooth that took a lot of work. EVERY minute through ALL of the procedures I was being reassured and made to feel at ease!!! They have the highest technology & professional office. If you need anything, DON'T hesitate to call them. They have the Greensboro office along with High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville & Asheboro. Again, everything was top-notch!!! Thank you for working me in....I couldn't have lasted all weekend. GREENSBORO STAFF 100% perfection !!!!

This was my first experience at having to have a root canal and I am an extremely anxious dental patient. Dr. Stanley and Sherry were quick to understand my anxiety and could not have been more understanding and calming. Both have excellent bedside manners making me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. The patient reception area is pleasant and the check in/check out staff efficient, professional and kind. The follow up call the next day was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Stanley and Sherry and the Piedmont Endodontics practice and would hope if I ever need another procedure - they will be able to see me. Both Sherry and Dr. Stanley were wonderful. They had a calming manner and answered all my questions in detail. I loved the way they explained the procedure prior to beginning and then informed which step was happening as they completed the procedure. They also explained what to expect and what to do when going home. I loved the fact that I didn't feel rushed as happens in so many doctor/dental offices. My only question about the practice is why claims are not filed with medical insurance. I called my provider, Anthem BC/BS and they told me they do sometimes pay for root canals depending upon how it is filed. I do not have dental insurance so it would have been very helpful if it had been filed on my health insurance.

Considering I was there for a root canal, and that I have terrible anxiety about dental care, my appointment went well. Dr. Stanley was very patient and took the time to try to make me feel at ease. He stopped the procedure as necessary to make sure I was okay. Hopefully, I will never need another root canal, but if I do, I would definitely want Dr. Stanley to perform the procedure. My experience interacting with the practice was very good - from the first phone call to the last.

The root canal was nothing like I expected. I thought there would be more pain like that I have experienced in regular dental work where the anesthetic doesn't fully do the job. This was not the case, there was no pain whatsoever. Further, I always hate getting a shot in my gum and for many years I had all my dental work done without anesthetic. In later years I sucked it up and dealt with it. For my root canal, Dr. Stanley injected the anesthetic very slowly and this decreased the pain to almost nothing. This one thing probably made the whole experience great for me...well, that and getting the tooth fixed so I had no pain from it anymore. I have another root canal yet to be done and I actually look forward to going in and seeing Dr. Stanley and the staff. They do truly great work. ATTENTION: PLEASE REMOVE THIS SECTION WITH ALL CAPS BEFORE POSTING THE REVIEW - ON MY COMPUTER, THE STARS DON'T SHOW UP. I WAS ABLE TO SEE FIVE BLUE SQUARE BLOCKS BY DRAGGING THE CURSOR OVER THE AREA WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED. I TRIED TO CLICK ON THE FIFTH BLOCK, HOPING THIS WAS EQUIVALENT TO THE FIFTH STAR - AT ANY RATE, MY RATING IS FIVE STARS ON BOTH SECTIONS, OVERALL SATISFACTION AND OVERALL DOCTOR EVALUATION. From the time you walk in the door, everyone makes you feel at ease/comfortable. The entire staff (Receptionist-Check-In/Check-Out, Assisting Staff and Doctors) are all so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend Piedmont Endodontics!

Both Dr. Stanley and his assistant (Sherry) were extremely attentive and did everything possible to make sure that i was comfortable during the entire procedure. Dr. Stanley explained every step of the process, while efficiently and painlessly administering anesthetic and completing the root canal treatment. Both he and Sherry explained the post - procedure care / ibuprofen dosage to prevent any possible pain or discomfort in the next 2 days. I would give these great professionals an A+ !

Everyone at the office was friendly and professional and really seemed to love their job. Sherry and Dr. Stanley were kind, compassionate, and worked swiftly but thoroughly. Dr. Stanley was so kind, gentle and informative throughout my entire first root canal experience. He talked me through the process before, during and after to ensure that I knew exactly what was going on and what to expect. The numbing shot on the roof of my mouth was the worst part and it barely even hurt because he applied a cold, dry ice solution (I think) to numb that area before the initial prick. He went a step above any previous dentist I've received numbing shots from and made this time as pain free as possible. This was my first root canal and from his awesome work and gentle approach to everything it's by far the best experience I've ever had with any dental work. I highly recommend Dr. Stanley and I will definitely be requesting Dr. Stanley for any procedures that may arise in the future!

For all of us who have had "anxiety attacks" about the prospect of having a root canal.....fear no more! Will Stanley, D.D.S., M.S. was my doctor and I strongly recommend him to anyone! His assistants, Megan Ivey and Sherry Hoover were as equally as highly skilled at their profession and were quick to remind me that there would be "no pain." Both ladies have outstanding concern and care for their patients. I actually had two visits stemming from a problem away from the office, one in Kernersville and another in Greensboro and everyone at both sites were excellent professionals. As a repeat patient of Dr. Stanley's, I am always amazed at how calm he makes one feel. He is compassionate about his work and I trust his opinions 100%. During my root canal, he and Meghan were top notch. Leave all anxiety at the door with these two as they will always take very good care of you! It's also comforting to receive a phone call the next day to see how you are doing. Customer service is wonderful and appreciated.
